This piece was a combination of different mediums, the background being a gesso covered panel with a watercolor wash in a variety of colors, topped with chalk pastel flowers. The flowers themselves are still life of faux floral, and the overall piece has a semi-surreal, dreamlike quality. This was another foray into a new medium for me, and was made in a time when I was doing multiple floral based pieces.
