This project was based around the idea of selecting a non-profit and creating a fundraising album for it. I chose the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, a charity that helps LGBT people avoid unfair incarceration and provides information and resources to LGBT people. The album is meant to be reminiscent of a notebook belonging to a young lesbian, filled with doodles and stickers and song lyrics that mean a lot to her. I also illustrated a faux polaroid photo of the character and her girlfriend. I chose songs that were related to gay love or are considered gay anthems, especially ones written by queer artists. All of the photography was taken and edited by me using items from my desk to add to the realism of it.
